| Need |
| Physicians in practice do not
routinely scan journals for information that will enhance their
ability to treat the various digestive disease states that they see
regularly in their practices. With the growth of evidence-based
medicine, there is a belief that there must be a more efficient means
of keeping up on the ever-changing medical literature. IBD Watch
provides a concise easy-to-read summary of the literature and key
scientific presentations in a format that has been widely accepted by
practicing physicians. Physicians who regularly read the monthly and
special issues will gain increased exposure to emerging clinical data
that can optimize treatment strategies resulting in improved patient
responses and clinical outcomes. |
| |
| Learning Objectives |
At the conclusion of this
activity, participants should be able to:
 | Improve the quality of care for IBD patients through practice of
evidence based medicine |
 | Be better informed about emerging diagnostic tools and treatment
trends in inflammatory bowel disease |
 | Optimize treatment strategies resulting in improved patient
responses and clinical outcomes |
|
| |
| Intended Audience |
| IBD Watch is produced for
physicians who diagnose or treat inflammatory bowel disease |
| |
| There are no prerequisites for
participating in this activity |
